Eleanor, Michael’s mother, is a terrifying depiction of what emotional immaturity will do to those dependent upon you. Crafting her was one of the more difficult portions of Michael’s story, but absolutely amongst the most necessary.

There are no heroes in his tale, but there are varying degrees of villains and Eleanor certainly ranks among the more vile of them. The most difficult part of making her was taking the time to show her glimpses of goodness. I hope that I’m proven up to the task.
